PULS now offers a DC-UPS controller for output currents up to 20A to avoid the high costs and potential damage caused by unexpected power outages. The PULS UB20.241 provides a regulated, stable output voltage during buffering that can be adjusted between 22.5V and 26V. This feature is ideal for systems that are sensitive to voltage fluctuations. This unit can accept VRLA battery sizes from 3.9Ah to 130Ah, therefore offering maximum flexibility for numerous applications. Two 12V batteries connected in series provide the back-up power and can be individually charged and monitored via a center tap connection. This feature extends the service life of the batteries and avoids the need for matched battery pairs at the time of replacement. Additional reliability and safety can be realized by incorporating a temperature sensor for precise charging voltage regardless of changes in the ambient temperature. The UB20.241 is easy to install & set up, has extensive battery diagnostics, and many protective features. The output of this unit is decoupled from the input allowing load circuits to be split into buffered and un-buffered branches.
