Panel Performance Rivals IPCs

April 1, 2011
The Power Panel 500 generation is equipped with Intel Atom Z510, Z520 and Z530 processors to handle performance ranges previously reserved for industrial PCs. The panel line bridges the gap between the real-time operating system and standard operating systems such as Windows CE, Windows XP and Windows 7.

It can be equipped with up to 2GB of main memory. Remote I/O and drives can be connected using modular fieldbus interfaces. Depending on requirements, the devices can be expanded with Powerlink, CAN bus, Profibus DP or other fieldbus interfaces. The product range includes panels ranging from 5.7-in. VGA to 15-in. XGA displays with an intuitive touch screen and function keys.
