Push Buttons Withstand Washdowns

Sept. 3, 2010
The Harmony XB4/5 is said to be the first multiple-headed 22mm push button available that has attained the harsh environment IP66/IP69K rating without the use of a boot.

The IP69K rating, designed to address high pressure and high temperature hosedown applications, makes these push buttons well-suited for use in harsh, washdown environments including food and beverage applications. Available in plastic or metal, the Harmony multi-headed operator offers two or three functions in the same physical space as a single-function device for simple applications. Designed with super-bright and energy-efficient LED technology, the Harmony XB4/5 buttons provide high contrast illumination with long life operation (up to 10 years) and are rated for 1 million operating cycles. They feature easily readable, double-injected markings for clear indication of button action.
