TP Temperature Transmitter Module

June 22, 2010
ifm efector inc., a leading manufacturer of sensors and controls, introduces the TP3237 temperature transmitter module.
The compact TP3237 transmitter turns any Pt100 or Pt1000 RTD probe (2, 3 or 4-wire) into a programmable transmitter. Once connected, the transmitter verifies the type of RTD and automatically makes the correct settings for the application. The modular transmitter can be direct or remote mounted in pipes and tanks. A bright LED indicates transmitter loop power.

The transmitter features a quick-disconnect M12 connection that eliminates the wiring errors that can occur with standard terminal chamber head transmitters. An IP69K environmental rating prevents liquid ingress. The transmitter can be programmed for scaling between -58...572°F (-50...300°C) and is designed for industrial automation and sanitary applications.

The TP3237 is a Micro DC unit with 4…20 mA analog output and a 20…32 VDC operating voltage. List price for the TP3237 is $78.00 (US). ifm also offers a variety modular components that connect to the TP that include Pt100 RTD probes, ½" NPT thermowells, process connections and cordsets.
