PoCL Cameras Debuts

June 4, 2010
Dubbed the CleverDragon line, six Power over CameraLink (PoCL) monochrome and color cameras have been added to the vendor’s machine vision line-up, including a 2-megapixel camera capable of running 30 frames-per-second (fps).
Much like Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) which is widely used in the video surveillance industry, PoCL allows a single cable to carry the power supply, high-speed image transfer and camera control to save time, money and space. All 5MP and under CleverDragon cameras share a feature set highlighted by a square grid array CCD, random trigger shutter, programmable partial scan for faster frame rates, and ultra-compact, space-saving and lightweight form factors measuring either 29x29x26.5mm or 54x43x59mm.Toshiba Teli America Inc.www.toshiba-teli.com949.770.TELI
