Aug. 5, 2009
The Smart-Trak 2 is said to be a significant re-design of the vendor’s flagship Series 100 Digital Mass Flowmeters and Controllers, with new features adding more control, independence and flexibility.
Also new is the Compod, a Smart-Trak 2 add-on that expands networking, streamlines and simplifies functionality and reduces costs. Expanded functionality of Smart-Trak 2 includes: true linear performance provides high accuracy and great flexibility in multiple gases; Dial-A-Gas technology enables users to select from up to ten pre-programmed gases or substitute their own; the ability to adjust calibration in the field for each of these 10 gases independently; Pilot Module (mounted or hand-held) lets users view and change critical control functions in the field; Proprietary frictionless-hovering direct-acting control valve technology; and Modbus RTU networking capability with Sierra Compod.Sierra Instruments Inc.www.sierrainstruments.com/ST2800.866.0200
