The UID Compliance Verifier, DPM enables the DoD and its suppliers to
comply with the AIM DPM Quality Guideline DPM-1-2006, adopted in
MIL-STD-130M, Change 1.
The unit also provides backward compatibility to the earlier MIL-STD-130 releases. Capable of both tabletop and portable operation, the UID Compliance Verifier, DPM combines camera, optics and the full set of required AIM DPM lighting. The verification system rapidly and automatically cycles through each illumination option. It then reports the results to the user, identifying the best overall illumination setting for the marking technology and part surface of each specific application.
