Three-color Sensing

March 13, 2007
Dura-Vue DF12 series color sensors can be taught to recognize three independent colors with a single sensor.
Programming is designed to be quick and easy—via a potentiometer setting at the sensor, or by a remote teach signal from a PLC. The Dura-Vue DF12 series features a harsh-duty, metal-framed housing with swivel connector, and is well-suited for sorting, positioning, and quality control in packaging and converting applications. Each of the sensor’s three channels can be taught to detect even minute color variations, says the vendor, with varying degrees of tolerance as selected by the user.
