As the latest additions to the vendor’s DPI 800 Series of hand-held tools, the DPI 832 is an electrical loop calibrator, and the DPI 841/842 units provide frequency calibration.
The DPI 832 can be used to test control loops and for setting up DCSs, PLCs and signal conditioners in process and industrial control systems. The multifunctional DPI 832 can source and measure millivolts, milliamps or volts, while simultaneously measuring milliamps or capturing switch trip values with its dual-reading capability and large display. The DPI 841 measures and sources frequency from 0.01Hz to 50kHz, with up to six output waveforms with amplitudes from 0.1 volts to 24 volts. Dedicated features facilitate testing of electronic circuits and frequency-based instruments. The DPI 842 frequency loop calibrator provides additional functions, including milliamp measurement, loop power and switch detection.
