Flat Screen Enclosures

April 1, 2005
With flat screen and touchscreen monitors rapidly becoming the standard in today’s operator interfaces, the vendor has redesigned its Concept Operator Interface Enclosure series in response.

Twenty standard enclosures designed for pendant or pedestal mounted controls deliver functional and attractive integration of flat screen OI devices, including touch screens and LCD monitors, as well as push-buttons and other traditional control schemes. A single part number orders a complete enclosure including a 14-gauge steel body with quarter-turn latching back door, a blank aluminum front plate for easy customization and aluminum “comfort grip” handle extrusions that extend the height of the enclosure. These extrusions are available in standard accent colors including blue, red, purple and turquoise, as well as a standard RAL 9005 black polyester powder finish. Each of twenty models is pre-drilled for top mounting using a Series 2 or Series 4 50/60 pendant arm, or a pedestal.
