CitectSCADA V6 incorporates new features including a zero-maintenance Web Client, true color support, 500 additional symbols, and time-stamped data and custom alarm filters, as well as Process Analyst—a visualization tool combining historical alarm and trend data.
With the integrated trend and alarm view provided by Process Analyst, engineers no longer need to build custom analysis screens or compare a separate historical analog trend display with an alarm summary or log printout. Data appears on one integrated display, which is enhanced by 32-bit color and a selection of more than 500 new symbols. The new Web Client offers zero maintenance, fully functional clients for the V6 unit’s control systems, viewed via Microsoft Internet Explorer. The V6 also provides direct online access to a comprehensive range of drivers, via a secure connection with encrypted passwords. A software tool compares the installed drivers with updated ones enabling customers to download new drivers.
