Multi-Camera Machine Vision

Nov. 1, 2004
As the latest product in the vendor’s line of easy-to-use, pre-packaged Vision Appliances for industrial end users, iNspect is a multi-camera machine vision system that is designed for applications that require multiple inspections based on independent views of the same part.

iNspect is the first Vision Appliance based on the vendor’s NetSight II platform, and features several new hardware-based capabilities. These include the ability to accommodate views and processing for up to three cameras; performance up to 10 times that of comparable smart camera solutions; setup and monitoring via a traditional desktop interface; optional monitor access through a remote network interface (Web browser or application); a local display that gives users the ability to view runtime images with measurement overlays; and ample disk space for history and local job storage.
