Low-Cost, Low-Tech HMI

Nov. 1, 2004
Billed as a low-cost, low-tech alternative to SCADA software for small and stand-alone machines, Vijeo Look v2.5 software is designed for customers who want an easy-to-use solution for a stand-alone HMI system.

Vijeo Look 2.5 combines the ease-of-use of a Web browser with all the functionality of traditional HMI software, says the vendor. Graphics tools, including a Java Beans library, PID loops, conveyors and “mouse-over” animation enhance graphical manipulation. Wizards and eye-driven controls simplify customization of applications, while historical and real-time trending is made easy with Active X controls.
