Fiber Optic Amplifiers

Sept. 1, 2004
The SU16 Series Fiber Optic Amplifiers are DIN rail-mountable and designed to deliver versatile, high-performance scanning in a slim 10mm profile package.

The units are available in high power/high sensitivity models, or ultra-fast models with up to 8KHz switching frequency. Scanning ranges are up to 6 meters and response times are as fast as 50 microseconds. Users can fine-tune sensitivity of the unit by using a multi-turn potentiometer. The SU16 also features self-diagnostic LEDs and weak signal outputs, as well as mutual interference protection for enhanced detection stability and performance reliability.
