ODVA Executive Director Katherine Voss opened the 14th term business
meeting on March 3 by reviewing association accomplishments since the
last meeting held in Florida in February 2009. Members and staff of ODVA
held many workshops, seminars, plugfests and other promotional and
educational over the past two years. An educational and promotional
Webcast in China drew almost 400 attendees. A conformance test center
was opened in China. Staff and the Technical Review Board have committed
to a 2-times-per-year specification publication schedule that is now
current with changes from the SIGs and Board.In addition, Bosch
Rexroth was welcomed as a new Principal Member. Representing it on the
Board of Directors will be Bernd-Josef Schafer, BR executive vice
president, engineering and manufacturing.
