Software Supervises Network Traffic

May 12, 2010
Moxa releases the MXview Industrial Network Management Software package.

The new software can scan an entire network to create a visual map of your Industrial Ethernet network. A live-view topology map via Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) or a historical event database provides network status and health, and can support up to 500 network devices across distributed subnets.

Features include a User-Interface (UI) that identifies failure points in real-time, supports alert notifications using SMS and email messages with SNMP inform, centralized configuration and firmware management, and OPC technology to ensure efficient event handling, simple device maintenance and integration with SCADA/HMI systems.
