Intended for rugged applications, including trains, commercial vehicles, airplanes and mobile machines and equipment, the unit is scalable, based on specific application requirements. Graphical performance and power consumption can be matched to the environment, while the unit's I/O can be easily customized with minimal overhead. The unit is compliant to EN 50155 (railways) and prepared for e1 (automotive); it features two display ports up to 2560x1600 each, 2 Gigabit Ethernet and one USB 2.0, as well as WLAN, UMTS, GPS, GSM, HSDPA, EDGE, LTE via 2 PCI Express Mini Card slots. Also included are two slots for IBIS, GPS, RS-232, RS-485, RS-422 and a 24 VDC nom. (9 to 36 V) class S2 power supply, incl. ignition. The fanless design allows an operating temperature range of -40 to +70 °C, with operation in +85 °C possible for up to ten minutes.
