These features, combined with an 81% reduction in size compared to conventional models, result in what the maker says are the smallest, most durable miniature photoelectric sensors on the market. The sensors ensures stable detection by greatly reducing the effects of interference and target color or angle. They operate at a higher light frequency than most units to minimize the influence of external light, while built-in crosstalk prevention keeps multiple sensors in close proximity from interfering with each other. In addition, the units automatically adjust their power to maintain stable detection of targets of varying colors or angles. The units can be installed without special tools. No sensitivity adjustment is required and visible indicators will clearly indicate the presence or absence of a part.
