The molded plastic flowmeters provide fast start up (within 500 ms) and dual RJ45 connectors with a built-in hub. Enclosed in molded plastic housings, the units measure and transmit the velocity of liquids such as water, chemicals and corrosives over PROFINET Industrial Ethernet networking for manufacturing and process plants. Features include repeatability of ±0.25%, accuracy of ±2% of full scale and a 10:1 turndown ratio. Units are available in pipe sizes ranging from 1/4 inch to 2 inches and transmits flow rate, low-flow alarm set point, and alarm status (on/off) while receiving alarm setpoints from a server, which enable the user to set the low-flow threshold remotely from the server side. Data update rate is 100 ms and transmission rate is 100 Mb/s (full duplex), with Fast start-up (FSU) compatibility.
