The Automation1-HXA4 and Automation1-iHXA4 hexapod compact drives manage the hexapod like any other axis on Aerotech’s Automation1 motion controller network. These drives are engineered to amplify the advantages of Aerotech's second-generation hexapod family and integrate with the Automation1 motion control platform, which includes development software, controls, motor drives, the fiber-optic HyperWire communication bus and a suite of automation tools. The Automation1-HXA4 includes a motion controller and drive in one package. Built-in control features include Part-Speed Position-Synchronized Output (PSO) and Safe Torque Off (STO). The drives feature two connectors per hexapod, plus built-in analog and digital I/O.
