DataHub Version 7 builds on the OPC DataHub, which offers OPC tunneling, bridging and connectivity to databases, Excel, and the Web. New features include the ability to switch between redundant OPC servers, to store real-time histories of millions of data changes per second, and to display trend graphs of data points in real time.
The new version also includes the first release of DataHub WebView, an Internet application for designing and delivering high-quality, real-time graphical displays from any location. All page editing is done in a standard Web browser, such as Internet Explorer, and page updates can be automatically published as soon as changes are saved. Page designers have access to standard controls, gauges and 4,000 industry-standard symbols, which can be configured to recognize condition states and graphically notify operators of process status and anomalies.
