Media Converters Add Fiber Support

Support of Single-Strand Fiber (WDM) has been added to the newest models the vendor’s Optolinx line of industrial media converters. 
The IMP-100A-WA/WB Industrial PoE Media Converter still features a 10/100TX port that has the ability to provide Power over Ethernet on the copper port, but now also adds news models that support Single-Strand (WDM) type fiber. Initial products currently support distances up to 20Km with longer distance models scheduled to be released in the future. Key features associated with the new IMP-100A-WA/WB Industrial PoE Media Converters include: embedded 1 Port PoE Injector Function; RJ-45 Port Support Auto MDI/MDI-X Function; Store-and-Forward Switching Architecture; and built-in Link Loss Forwarding (LLF) and Link-Fault-Pass-Through (LFP).Aaxeon Technologies Inc.www.aaxeon.com714.671.9000
