The new Block PM-0624-100-0 redundancy module prevents downtime by monitoring two matched Block power supplies and switching to a backup when a failure occurs. The module also decouples the power supply outputs to prevent one supply from overloading the other. Block PM series power supplies offer 24W to 96W models with 12 or 24V DC adjustable outputs and start at $49.50; the Block PM redundancy module accepts power supply inputs up to 144W and is priced at $98.00.
