Siemens Simatic ET 200clean is a compact distributed I/O system in hygienic design with IP69K protection and M12 connection technology for processing digital and IO-Link signals for connection to bus systems with Ethernet-based protocols Profinet, EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP. This I/O system was developed for hygiene-sensitive applications, such as in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical and packaging industries. The special housing design enables hygienic 360° cleaning. The modules are EcoLab certified. Early fault detection and safe shutdown of drives guarantee stable production process. It can also be used in high-availability production systems.
