Moxa’s EDR-G9010 and EDR-8010 series industrial routers have earned DNV cybersecurity type approval with Security Profile 2. The EDR-G9010 and EDR-8010 Series are industrial multiport secure routers with firewall/NAT/VPN and managed Layer 2 switch functions, designed for Ethernet-based security applications in critical remote control or monitoring networks. With the addition of an industrial intrusion detection and prevention system (IDS/IPS), these routers can serve as next-generation industrial firewalls with threat detection and prevention capabilities. This DNV certification also demonstrates that these routers comply with the newly released IEC 61162-460 Edition 3.0 standard. DNV cybersecurity type approvals provide a way to streamline the UR E26/E27 compliance process, while ensuring that systems and devices comply with strict cybersecurity protection standards.
