The new KRT 3C contrast sensor is the smallest contrast sensor available from Leuze, its dimensions are 11 x 32 x 17mm. Machine throughput is optimized by a response time of 50 μs (laser: 125 μs) and minimal signal jitter. KRT 3C contrast sensors from Leuze use three different light types, allowing users to select the appropriate light source for each type of material and contrast marker color. Users can set up the KRT 3C via the integrated IO-Link interface, speeding up product format changeovers and easing installation. The sensor housing meets IP67 and IP69K degrees of protection and is Ecolab-certified.
