The new ODT3CL1-2M laser diffuse sensor from Leuze extends the company’s range of 3C series distance sensors. Time-of-flight technology allows an operating range of up to 2m for the switching and measuring sensor with background suppression. The sensor is also IP69K rated and made for use in harsh conditions. With its two independent switching points, it can perform detection and measurement tasks at the same time. The ODT3CL1-2M sensor can also use IO-Link to transmit measurement values and process data to the machine control, allowing users to evaluate the comprehensive diagnostic data from the diffuse sensor. Its compact design of 11.4 x 34.2 x 18.3mm allows it to be used in a variety of applications.
