The latest version of Teledyne’s Sapera Vision software includes a variety of new features with a primary focus on the Rotated Object Detection algorithm, which gives precise location and orientation of objects and defects. This release also offers enhanced versions of its AI training graphical tool Astrocyte 1.50, and its Sapera Processing 9.50 image processing and AI libraries. Additional new features include a new segmentation algorithm, speed improvement via Nvidia RTX 4000 series and performance power mode management, faster training time with use of multiple GPUs and mixed-precision quantization and the ability to acquire live video into sample applications.
