Honeywell Launches Two AI-Powered Products Aimed at Workforce Operations
Honeywell has focused its use of AI in a recent product update and a new product release to improve frontline operations in logistics operations.
The update centers on new enhancements added to Honeywell’s AI Assistant, which are:
- Inventory search, which allows workers to find items in stock or suggest alternatives if the desired item is not available.
- Product identification, which identifies products, parts or faults using natural language and camera input. It is designed to help reduce errors, speed up customer service and enable associates to maintain equipment more effectively.
The new AI-powered product is Honeywell’s CT70 mobile computer, which offers real-time data access and rapid barcode scanning. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Dragonwing Q-6690 processor, an enterprise mobile chip with integrated RFID, to enable AI applications and connectivity via 5G and Wi-Fi 7.
Honeywell added that RAIN RFID (a cloud-based infrastructure where RFID data can be stored, managed and shared via the Internet) integration is expected in early 2026.
