Tough, Lightweight Mobile Barcode Printers

June 4, 2009
MBi Series mobile barcode printers are lightweight, yet are designed to be extremely durable and tough.

With user-selectable print speeds up to 4 inches per second, MBi Series printers offer easy media and battery loading with the vendor’s drop-load-go design. They provide versatility in communication protocols including USB, Bluetooth, RS232 (Serial), 802.11g/b, and IrDA. Compact in design and weighing in at around 1 pound, they feature the latest in battery cell technology. The MB2i has a significantly larger roll capacity than competitive offerings, says the vendor. The MB4i has the option of 203dpi or 305dpi resolutions and both the MB2i and MB4i are said to have faster inches-per-second throughput than competitive products.
