All-in-One" Vortex Flowmeters

April 1, 2009
The Sitrans FX300 vortex flowmeter series is equipped with a temperature sensor and an optional pressure sensor.
By combining these sensors into one unit, the vortex principle is used to measure the temperature, pressure and flow of steam, gases and liquids. These “All-in-one Solutions” with Hart communication feature high accuracy and reliability. The sensor is fully welded and does not require wear-prone internal gaskets. The operating temperature range is from -40ºF to +464ºF. In the case of steam and gas with flow rates of 2 to 80 meters/second, the accuracy is 1.0 percent, and in the case of liquids flowing at rates between 0.4 and 10 meters/second, it is 0.75 percent. The nominal internal diameter range is DN15 to DN300 (0.5-in. to 12-in.).Siemens Energy & Automation Inc.www.sea.siemens.com/flow800.964.4114
