Narrow Drives

June 1, 2003
At 50 percent smaller than equivalent predecessors, the ACS 800 Low Voltage AC Drive family is said by the vendor to be the narrowest in the industry.

All units are designed in bookshelf style, and range from the 6.5-inches wide in 1.5- to 150-HP versions up to free-standing 600-HP units that measure 13.78 inches wide. The ACS drives are available in NEMA 1 or NEMA 12 enclosures. They are designed with integral EMC filters and chokes, are rated for supply voltages of 230V to 690V, and are backward compatible with the previous ACS 600 family.
