WAGO Corporation's 2060 Series 2-pole SMD-Terminal Block provides class-exclusive, push-button termination/re-terminations for the broadest range of solid/stranded conductors AWG 24-18.
With class-leading UL/CUL ratings of 9A/250V, 2060 Series is a labor-saving alternative to soldering leads for PCB-based LED products. 2060's push-button enables correction of wiring errors during assembly of LED devices, e.g., modules and light engines, eliminating costly scrap/rewiring. Ratings double that of traditional designs also make 2060 ideal for compact industrial electronics.
Just 4.5mm tall, 2060 Series features a contoured, light gray housing that minimizes on-board LED shadowing. Terminations are simple: Solid conductors are pushed-in; removal is push-button actuated. Flexible or stranded conductors utilize the push-button for termination/removal. CAGE CLAMP®S Spring Pressure Connection Technology provides maintenance-free, vibration- and thermal cycling-resistant terminations. Beyond streamlining wiring for large runs of LED modules, 2060 Series provides the flexibility of wiring modules with different conductor types - tinned, top-coated or pre-bonded.
The 2060 Series is available in tape-and-reel packaging for automated PCB assembly; a large pick-up area makes the SMD-Terminal Block compatible with pick-and-place equipment. Two upcoming variants will provide additional user-friendly termination options for 1- and 3-pole applications, as well as board-to-board applications. The 2-pole 2060 also carries EN/IEC 320V, 2.5kV/Z (II), 9A.
