AutomationDirect has extended its offering of safety products to include Viper Safety Relays from IDEM. Viper Safety Relays are designed with enhanced LED diagnostics and simplified wiring. These DIN rail mount units have screw and pluggable connection options and can be used in conjunction with guard switches, E-Stop switches and non-contact switches. Six new configurations of 24V AC/DC IDEM safety relays are now available.

Starting at $120.00, IDEM SCR21, SCR32 and SCR73 series single/dual channel Viper safety relays provide Up to 7 safety output contacts and 3 auxiliary output contacts for E-Stop relay or safety gate relay applications.

SCR3142TD series Viper safety relays (from $337.00) have a configurable delay function and 8 status LEDs for easy diagnostics. Applications include guard door monitoring, emergency stop devices and sensors.

The SEU31 series Viper safety relay expansion modules (starting at $125.00) can be directly wired to the SCR21, SCR31, SCR73, and SCR3142TD series safety relays to provide additional safety contacts.

Backed by a one-year warranty, IDEM Viper safety relay modules are cULus listed, CE and TUV certified, and Reach compliant.
