AutomationDirect has added a complete line of limit switches for safety applications to its Safety Products offering. Safety limit switches from IDEM provide positively operated switching contacts to verify the position of machine elements or other moving parts for safety related purposes. A wide range of housing types are available, and each offers a variety of actuation mechanisms, such as plungers, rollers and levers, all with precise operating points.

HLM series limit switches with heavy duty zinc aluminum die-cast bodies and LSPS series limit switches with standard duty plastic bodies have IP67 ratings and 1/2-inch NPT conduit fittings.

The HLM-SS series of heavy duty stainless steel limit switches has an IP69K rating (ideal for high temperature washdown) and 1/2-inch NPT fittings.

LSMM series (die-cast zinc aluminum body) and LSPM series (plastic body) are compact size switches with 2m pigtails and IP67 ratings (suitable for washdown).

IDEM safety limit switches start at $20.50 and have a 1-year warranty.
