Schneider Electric Launches Automation Roadshow

Oct. 15, 2012
Industry Now Express focuses on automation, control, and energy management solutions and will travel to various U.S. cities.

Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management, today announced the launch of its Industry NOW Express, a traveling showcase of its automation, control, and energy management solutions. Attendees will meet the company’s industry experts and local Automation and Control Excellence (ACE) distributors, see live machine and software demos, attend informative technical seminars and workshops, and discuss how Schneider Electric can help them meet their everyday energy management challenges with its comprehensive energy solutions.

“Increased operational costs in areas critical to our customers such as raw materials and energy are making it vital for an industrial organization to do more with less,” said Mark Mancini, Vice President, End User Sales & Marketing, Industry Business, Schneider Electric. “These events provide the tools to help managers implement energy management solutions, deploy upgrades and collaborative architectures faster, and increase the transparency of their processes – all of which allows for more efficient and impactful decisions.”

The event will provide participants with sessions on the latest automation and control trends, covering topics such as safety, security, energy management, and operational efficiency. Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn how to:

  • Minimize the risks and costs associated with the migration of legacy automation systems to modern PLC systems;
  • Utilize modern, state-of-the-art automation equipment to help shorten the design cycle of industrial projects;
  • Build robust industrial networks that provide security from cyber-threats;
  • Manage energy costs and maintain sustainable plant performance without compromising productivity;
  • Design energy-efficient machines that reduce time to market, maximize performance and cost less to produce;

Industry NOW Express is currently scheduled for Minneapolis, October 17-18, 2012; Pittsburgh, November 6-7, 2012; Atlanta, December 5-6, 2012; Los Angeles, January 23-24, 2013; and Dallas-Fort Worth February 6-7, 2013.
