Matrox Graphics announced that both Matrox Mura IPX and Matrox C-Series cards have been selected as product award finalists at the 18th annual global AV Awards.

Evaluated by a panel of industry expert judges appointed by AV Magazine, the Mura IPX line of 4K capture & IP encode/decode cards has been shortlisted for the 2016 “Audio and Video Processing and Distribution Product of the Year.” The C-Series line of multi-display video cards was also chosen as one of the top “Digital Signage Products of the Year.”

“We’re delighted that AV Magazine and the AV Awards have recognized our significant contribution to the AV landscape over the past twelve months,” said Cecilia Wills, UK Country Manager, Matrox Graphics Inc. “Whether it’s the scalability and control we offer through our video wall & AV-over-IP products, or the flexibility of digital signage solutions that can power as many as 18 displays, Matrox is creating products that people are standing up and taking notice of.”

Matrox Mura IPX Series 4K capture and IP encode & decode cards let OEMs and AV system builders deliver advanced video wall controllers featuring high-quality, low-bitrate, multi-channel 4K or HD encoding and decoding over standard IP. Designed to work with Mura MPX video wall capture and display cards and Matrox C-Series multi-display graphics cards, Mura IPX packs 4K capture plus high-density encode and decode functionality onto a single PCIe® card to simplify integration and reduce installation costs.

Matrox C-Series multi-display video cards deliver outstanding performance, stability, and usability to power video management systems and small-scale display walls in control room, digital signage, enterprise, industrial, security, A/V, and embedded system applications. Matrox C900 is the world’s first single-slot graphics card to drive nine 1920x1200 displays for 3x3 and 9x1 configurations. Matrox C680 supports up to six 4K/UHD displays for eye-catching configurations. Matrox C420, a fanless quad-output card, is ideal for increased reliability and small-form-factor player PCs.

Winners will be announced at the AV Awards Gala held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, UK, on Friday, September 30.
