Advantech’s IIoT Automation Group is pleased to announce the UL certified EKI-2525LI, a 8cm tall Ethernet switch aimed at applications where space is a critical criteria for users.
Compact devices such as PLCs typically have a height of only 10cm. Conventional Ethernet switches are usually taller than this, resulting in a waste of space. The EKI-2525LI overcomes this and can easily fit into a rack-mount cabinet to maximize space utilization, thus providing an easy and immediate upgrade for Industrial IoT applications.
The EKI-2525LI can also be fitted into any already-wired electronic box or shelve where extra connectivity and communication service are required but space is limited, thus aiding businesses with key infrastructure upgrades.
Moreover, the EKI-2525LI can serve as an embedded device in any working equipment, such as kiosk, AGV, and CNC machines, thus ensuring smooth data transmission between embedded devices and thereby promoting seamless information communication.
The EKI-2525LI supports a wide operating temperature of -40° ~ 75°C, 12 ~ 48 VDC power terminal input plus one DC power jack and P-Fail relay, supports 10/1000 Mbps auto-negotiation, and provides five fast Ethernet ports with auto MDI/MDI-X.
The EKI-2525LI is currently available for order now.
