Long-range Laser Sensor

April 6, 2010
The first model of the BOS 50K series sensors features a new lens design in an IP67 housing.
With a long, 2m sensing range, this background-suppression sensor and its highly-visible red light emitter is said to be simple to set up and adjust. It is well-suited for installations in which laser sensors may cause safety concerns or perform poorly due to contaminants in the air, and for extended range applications such as large roll runout, hopper level control, and part counting for wood finishing equipment. The BOS 50K has excellent gray shift capability at an affordable price, says the vendor.Balluff Inc.www.balluff.com800.543.8390
