Replace Expensive Analog Controls

Jan. 9, 2010
The HMI5043N is a 4.3-inch high-resolution widescreen Graphic OIT that is 30 percent wider than a traditional standard screen configuration.
The unit’s unobtrusive 5x4x1.4-in. size enables mounting flexibility for OEMs, with affordability that quickly trumps the expensive analog controls it was designed to replace, says the vendor. With its portrait-landscape mode, the HMI5043N can be functionally mounted either horizontally or vertically to accommodate space requirements. The touchscreen unit is powered by a 400MHz processor, 128MB of memory, and it has a Client USB port, as well as a serial port. With a 65,000 color high-contrast TFT display, the HMI5043N features resolution at 480x272 pixels. List price is $350. Maple Systems Inc.www.maplesystems.com425.745.3229
