The ACS800-U4 drive module line has been expanded to include R2-R6 frame sizes, which include a range of 1-200 horsepower.
R7 and R8 frame sizes, already available, expand the total module range to 600hp. All modules are offered in 480VAC, and are also available in 230VAC and 690VAC configurations. The modules, built with IP20 protection, are well-suited for installation into enclosures. The ACS800-U4 modules are based on the vendor’s ACS800-U1 standard drives, but exclude the drive cover, conduit box, keypad, keypad mounting and documentation. This allows OEMs and system integrators to buy only what they need—and no more, says the vendor. The modules also are compact. The R6, 200hp unit, with a 254A rating, is billed as the smallest 200hp drive on the market.ABB, Automation Products, Low Voltage Drives www.abb.us/drives 262.785.3590
