Before TwinCAT Backup, computer drives were “imaged” to create backups, but this approach requires identical hardware. TwinCAT Backup runs as a normal program in Windows and will automatically perform full and incremental data backups. The backup data can include TwinCAT data and program files, computer name, network settings and other critical programs such as the HMI or SCADA software.
