Vision Made Easier

Dec. 1, 2003
As the latest addition to the vendor’s In-Sight line of vision sensors, In-Sight Explorer is designed to combine easy development of vision applications with efficient administration of a vision sensor network.

Explorer includes a suite of development, management and monitoring tools. It detects new In-Sight vision sensors on the network, and includes step-by-step wizards for easy addition of a new sensor. Explorer’s spreadsheet includes shortcuts, image zooming and panning, and integrated context-sensitive help. Independent password protection is provided for multiple sensors. Backup and duplication utilities speed deployment of additional vision sensors on production lines. Report generation, file management and firmware updating tools simplify network and sensor management. A user-friendly interface incorporates the look and feel of standard Windows-based applications.
