The marine-grade aluminum enclosure of the VisuNet FLX HMI series is designed for indoor and outdoor applications that require extended temperature ranges of -20 to +50°C. The robust housing not only offers optimal heat dissipation, but also high resistance. Additional sun shields can be attached to the sides, top edge and rear as required. They also serve as protection against rain and other environmental conditions.

nVent Stainless-Steel Enclosure

The nVent Hoffman OICE-SS is designed for ease of handling and rigorous protection. With IP66 and NEMA 12 rating, as well as 4X protection degree ratings, the enclosure can be used in a wide variety of environments, including ones that require a corrosion resistant design. The material used for this enclosure is AISI 304L pre-grained stainless steel at 1.5 mm thickness on the body and door. The mounting plate is 2 mm galvanized steel. The body of the enclosure is folded and seam welded, with a reinforcement plate mounted in the roof of the enclosure. Its flexibility allows users to mount HMI screens along with a range of compatible accessories, such as nVent’s new CS480 stainless-steel swing arm system and stainless-steel handles that can be mounted to the sides.

A new DNP3 driver enables Movicon.NExT HMI/SCADA to integrate with power industry and electrical utility networks. Optimized I/O operations more efficiently aggregate read/write tags for greater throughput, and open connectivity helps users easily connect with digital assets. Native support within Movicon.NExT for Python runtime scripting enables custom, cross-platform logic while support for TimescaleDB in the historian offers improved storage efficiency and higher performance.

The cMT3218XP features a 1920×1080 HD display with 500 cd/m² brightness, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and an 89-degree wide viewing angle. The touch panel supports multi-touch operation, including use with gloves, while an IP66-rated front panel and NEMA 4-compliant aluminum enclosure provide structural strength. It is powered by a quad-core RISC processor with 2 GB RAM and 4 GB Flash memory. Connectivity options include dual Ethernet ports, dual USB ports, RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces, as well as MPI 187.5K and CANopen support.
