Powered exclusively by the host USB port, the unit provides downstream devices with 100 mA of power and high speed USB connectivity at 480 Mbps. Measuring 2.4 x 1.75 x 1.10 in. (6.1 x 4.45 x 2.79 cm), the unit features an ABS plastic housing, built-in mounting tabs, a -40 to 80 °C operating temperature, and high-retention USB connectors. It is designed and tested for industrial EN61000-6-1 harsh environments and is validated for IEC60068-2-32 drop testing, and adheres to 15 kV ESD protection and FCC/CISPR Class B standards. The unit shares many features of the company's top-of-the-line USB hubs, although it does not include their built-in surge protection and electrical isolation. It carries a 5-year warranty.
