More Image Acquisition Options

Feb. 9, 2010
A new release of the vendor’s VisionPro hardware-independent vision software expands image acquisition options with support for very large camera images and nontraditional sources such as 3D, thermal and X-ray imagers.
VisionPro 6.0 also offers high-accuracy calibration and image correction for line-scan cameras, and expanded ID reading capability of 2D codes. The software supports Microsoft 64-bit operating systems, and its framework enables users to switch seamlessly between 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems. A new calibration tool enables application accuracy when using line-scan cameras. One single calibration board image is sufficient to correct camera distortion and camera displacements such as rotation and tilt. The software’s ID symbol reader tool has been expanded to read 2D codes up to 144x144, and supports the development of GS1 conforming applications.Cognex Corp.www.cognex.com/visionpro877.264.6391
