The online portal has almost a quarter million components and device data elements from nearly 50 manufacturers, and the number continues to grow. The portal provides the master data of major automation manufacturers, and also contains schematic macros, multilingual parts information, preview images, documents and more. New features include the capability for a manufacturer's product configurator to be linked directly to the portal. For components that are changing rapidly, manufacturers can link their product configurator so that complex products can be directly imported to the portal and be used within the platform for schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, etc. This saves users having to create each piece from scratch.
