The ZHV from SMC can function either as a blow-off unit or a vacuum unit depending on the direction of the output port. The blow air flow rate generated is 4x the supply air flow rate, while the vacuum air flow rate generated is 3x the supply air flow rate. Additionally, a large passage diameter is available for suction of machining chips, particles, etc. This unit has no moving parts, making the unit maintenance free.
