Hilscher North America announces an extensive channel development plan for the United States market, which is designed to provide a new level of service and support to end user customers using all forms of the company's netTAP, netLINK, netBRICK, and CIFX gateways and proxies.
“This marks the official start of our entry into the U.S. market with these end user products”, says Phil Marshall, COO of Hilscher NA. As part of the plan, Hilscher has signed the first of two U.S. distributors: Professional Control Corporation (PCC) in Germantown, WI and Electro-Matic Products (EMP) in Farmington Hills, MI. Both new distributors are also Siemens Automation distributors, allowing for Hilscher to bundle its products into integrated solutions.
“The synergy we expect with these distributors’ existing lines will give us increased opportunities in the market-place,” said Victor Wolowec, Hilscher NA’s newly appointed distribution channel manager. The distributors will sell and support the same netX integrated network controller platform to end users that has been selling into embedded systems for years.
