Cincoze’s new external EMC solution, the Power Protection Module (PPM) offers increased protection against the electromagnetic noise common in industrial environments. Electrical noise can often cause computer communication errors, erratic signals, unexpected reboots, and even equipment downtime, affecting equipment operation and production efficiency, but unlike traditional designs that build EMC protection into the computer, the PPM uses a more flexible external architecture.

The first two models, the PPM-I360 (360W) and PPM-I180 (180W), accommodate different computer power consumption levels and configurations, enhancing EMC protection in smart manufacturing and industrial automation applications. When paired with the PPM, Cincoze industrial computers can further suppress or filter out Electrical Fast Transient (EFT) transient interference at the power input to meet the industrial environment EMC standard (EN/IEC 61000-6-2/ 61000-6-4) test requirements, improving long-term stable operation in high-interference environments.
